Have you been hearing about Simpli5 aligners, and would like to learn more about how they can help to improve your smile? We invite you to come in and meet with our dentist, Dr. Kevin L. Carlton. At our orthodontic practice, Kevin L Carlton DDS MS, you will be able to consult with our dentist to learn what type of Abilene dental braces will work best to correct your smile.
Dr. Carlton has been providing exemplary orthodontic care for our patients for over 18 years. Our office environment is comfortable and friendly; patients always enjoy coming to see us for their orthodontic visits. Our practice is open to both children and adults. Simpli5 aligners is a type of orthodontic system that can reposition teeth that are only slightly misaligned. These aligners are made out of transparent resin. They are often referred to as “invisible braces” because when they are worn by our patients they are barely noticed by others. In fact, when Simpli5 aligners are placed over teeth, they are virtually invisible. Simpli5 aligners have become a popular way for our patients to be discreetly treated with Abilene dental braces.
Simpli5 aligners are particularly popular with our adult patients who may be embarrassed by being seen wearing traditional metal braces. With Simpli5 aligners, adults are able to attend work and social situations without anyone even knowing that they are receiving orthodontic treatment. The Simpli5 system uses at least five aligners to reposition the teeth. Unfortunately this type of treatment cannot be used in every smile situation. It works best for the patient who has teeth that are only slightly misaligned. However, our orthodontist will be easily able to tell you if you qualify for treatment with the Simpli5. If you are interested, you should make an appointment to meet with Dr. Carlton for a consultation. If you do qualify for this procedure, our orthodontist will need to take a mold of your teeth using dental putty. A plaster mold is then created which will be used to make your Abilene dental braces. Photographs and measurements are also sent to the dental lab which will then be able to put together a treatment plan. 3-D technology will be used to create the final aligners. Each aligner will be worn for anywhere between two and three weeks, as they move the teeth in tiny increments to their new positions. To meet with our orthodontist regarding Simpli5, contact us today.
